This project challenged me to design/create a unique piece of structural packaging around a topic of my choice, using critical design as my lens. The content (topic) of this project was open to my unique concept. The packaging design itself had to address the concept, with attention paid to typography, image, color, and craft. I chose to create a speculative device to extract data from dreams. I aimed to explore a future in which even the subconscious is no longer private and every aspect of personal life is commodified.
