For this project, I was tasked to select one of the 27 amendments to the U.S. Constitution, and design a poster that visually interprets the amendment using primarily type as image. The poster could remind people of the amendment’s original purpose and importance, raise awareness about a particular issue related to the amendment, or call for a change to the amendment itself.
I chose to focus on the relationship between one of our 1st Amendment rights, freedom of speech, and cancel culture.
